We often see about Anti Mosquito APP on Social Media. When I checked at these apps, I found they broadcast an ultrasound between 16KHz and 20KHz. Ultrasounds can't harm people, but if they are turned on all the time, they can damage the phone's sound system a little. Many people on the internet claim that these apps work, while others say that they don't actually work.

In fact, there is no evidence that these ultrasounds can actually make mosquitoes run. It has not been confirmed by any scientist, nor has it been accepted by any organization. Frequencies that humans do not hear can be heard by dogs, with cats What other animals can hear is true. This will cause an illusion to be created. Mosquitoes will also hear these low frequency ultrasounds. But that sound cannot drive away the mosquitoes. There are some comments that the mosquitoes are not running at all, but there are fewer. What is an earthquake and how does it happen?


Earthquake is the vibration of the earth's surface when two earth's crusts collide. The earth's surface is composed of four layers called inner core, outer core, mantle, and crust. The two outermost layers are the crust and the mantle.


In these two layer, the earth's solid (called Tectonic Plates) are included in various parts. These tectonic plates are always moving and bumping into each other, one intruding one on top of the other, and so on. When two moving tectonic plates collide, they cannot move forward. But even if they stop, the kinetic energy that causes the Earth's tectonic plates to move won't stop. As the energy slowly accumulates near the point of collision, it becomes a huge wave from the push. Just like the waves when something falls into water, the energy accumulates at the point of collision and these huge waves can shake everything up, causing the Tectonic Plates to shake and vibrate. That is called an earthquake.

When those waves come out of the earth's underground, the small-sized waves are far away and cannot cause damage to things on the earth's surface. Do you know why scientists can say the size of the earth or any star/planet ? They can not measure the actual size of these stars. So Why did he say the size, temperature, weather or somethings else of these object/matter ? Because of Light. Yes the biggest answer is Light. Scientists can calculate the size (or something) by using the light reflected from these object/matter. Light can carry the details of any object.




So Light is amazing, isn't right? So What is Light and how it work ?

Today, I want to explain what is matter and about its structure. Basically, every object/things are made up of matter. The air, water, even our bodies. The sun, earth, moon and any stars are made up of matter. All matter is made up of tiny particles called atoms. There are electrons, protons and neutrons in an atom. According the structure, quantity, mass and size, matters can be different each other. Every substance has many types of molecules depending on the structure of its molecules, but there are only more than 100 types of elements that make up molecules. Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Carbon, Oxygen, Iron, Gold, Silver, etc... You can study these elements in this table called Periodic Table .


Now you know all matter can be different size, shape or color according the structure of its atoms. There are also different states and properties.

Solid, Liquid and Gas, its properties are are Melting, Freezing, Sublimation, Vaporization, Condensation and Deposition.

I explained state of matter can be different into various form such as solid, liquid and gas according to their atoms' structure. It is more than that, it has another states such as plasma, Bose-Einstein Condensate. So it have their properties above I explained such as melting, freezing, etc...

For further study, we need to know that atoms have different energy levels. Energy levels are not the same as different types of atoms, and the gap between each level is different. Energy level refers to the amount of energy of electrons. The electrons of every atom have levels 1 2 3 and so on up to the ionization level.

In some situations, matter is converted into energy by atomic reactions, also known as nuclear reactions.

Then, what is Electromagnetic Radiation ?

Now what is the electromagnetic spectrum ?

The other electromagnetic waves can not be seen with our eye and we use these waves in other field such as X-rays, gamma rays in medical field, radio waves in ICT field, etc... But ultraviolet light can make the cancer for our skin.

Light has also another properties Frequency, Wavelength else such as Intensity, Direction and Polatization. Like all forms of light (all electromagnetic waves), visible light emits tiny packets called photons and carries both wave and particle properties. This property is called wave-particle coupling. The study of light is an important area of research in modern physics.
